OBSERVATIONS
Yearly Trends
- Decline observed during 2023 due to inadequacy in machinery capacity and inept supervision
- Trend seen to continue till upgradation works carried out in Jul 2024 after which there’s a rise and fall, the last again due to the issue of supervision.
- Sharp increase seen from Feb 2025 which can be attributed to a modified operating procedure and enhanced supervision.
Six Month Trend
- No activity during maintenance period (6-20 April 2025), handling rates have improved thereafter.
- Irregularly irregular spikes and dips reflect the perennial issue of critical minimum in manpower.
31-Day Trend
- Largely satisfactory except for the issue of critical minimums
- Severely affected during the last week due to frequent power outages
Increase in output though desirable can only be considered after an increase in the labour force. Any push for increase under present conditions will only reflect adversely on work quality.
