The awards ceremony of this year’s floral carnival was quite marred by the premature burst of the Southwest monsoon, but the downpours, drizzles, Scotch mists, London fogs, and high winds, failed to dampen the spirit of the proceedings, and the sea of humanity which thronged the gardens stands testimony of that fact.
Happy that our little garden at the waste management facility bagged a third place and proved to be an award winner four years straight. Hope to do better next year, for as Lincoln is known to have remarked, that striving to be worthy of recognition is better than worrying about not being recognised.
A big thank you for our gardener Tmt. Manjula for her solo effort in maintaining this lovely little garden.
